Job Sector: Community Health
Job Spec: 1. Provide a high standard of care in an efficient, kind, and respectful manner, preserving the dignity and self-respect of the service users at all times.
2. Be aware and maintain infection control measures
Keep a neat and tidy appearance and always wear the proper uniform while on duty.
Participate in training sessions and fire drills as needed.
5. Mentor new members of staff as instructed.
6. Be prepared to perform additional household or other duties as needed.
7. Maintain safety standards
8. Report any accidents involving either staff or service users.
9. Comply with written and verbally agreed-upon employment conditions, such as hours of duty, days of duty, timekeeping, etc.
10. Make sure that any concerns about service users are not discussed with others or outside the home.
11. Compliance with health and safety regulations
12. To support service users with complex care needs: requiring the following tasks: Peg feed, Suction, Tracheostomy, medication via peg etc. (Experience and skills apply)
